'All animals are equal, but some animals are more equal than others.'
          George Orwell, Animal Farm (1945)

Universal Declaration of Human Rights: absolute universalism or Orwellian universalism?  See 62 years of Human Rights, yet no rights since 62?

  1. I love George Orwell's animal farm. but what do you mean by orwellian universalism?

Dont you think that the question of "who will guard the guards?" is a universal problem? Those who are in power will definitely try to protect themselves, and and to try interpreting the law into their side.

The only way out of this is to have some form of accountability.

    Great article though
